**********2024 Playoffs in game**********

Before I could even get my parlay in, ugh
I’m looking at the times on the posts and I’m trippin! I forgot I’m still on pacific time even though I’m in Wisconsin till late October.

Ended up hooking them up with Nashville and Colorado before they scored the 2nd. Between draft, NBA, NHL it's already been a long weekend. Haven't looked at the scoreboard yet

Bob cole was the absolute GOAT

What a huge loss

He has signature calls for like 20 different teams I can think of

@dylanphan how’s the scene wherever you are?
Thanks for the reco Teapot. My dinner/family obligations ran a bit late and my daughter lives in Printers Row, so I had to scramble a bit. Me and my wife ended up at Kaseys Tavern. Was pretty perfect for us, lowkey, had the Rangers on right in front of me, most people there were more interested in drinking than the games tbh. I had a great time in Chicago overall. Back home in soupy/shitty Htwon now.

I didn't see anything at all wrong with the Jensen hit on Fox. Probably interference penalty, but I didn't think it was dirty at all. Preds went after Hughes all night long. That's kinda what you need to do though. Don't be cheap, it's hockey, all good. Wilson has been really good all series long and he's intimidating. He tried riling up Rempe last game, no dice. Tonight is going to be a different story. Not sure if the Rangers have lost a single game with Rempe in the lineup yet. He knocked out JVR last game, hit was high, but I really didn't think it was dirty, Rempe is just a bit dude. His elbow is where most humans shoulders are.

And I placed a bet on the Leafs winning that series, but I'm pretty sure I hate the Leafs more than any team other than the Pens and Isles. Nylander is a guy that plays hard for his contract, and 34 is the biggest pussy on the planet. Rooting for the Bruins at this point.

Nice, I like that area. Great location. You could park for like $10-$20 back in the day for the Bears games and we’d get there around 7am (usually because we didn’t sleep the night before) and depending on the weather, we drank beers and shots of Jameson or we would do Yukon Jack and Apple cider if it was cold out.

The first place I was going to suggest is called Krolls and I looked it up for the exact address and Google said they were permanently closed which I found hard to believe because it was a great spot. Close to Printers Row. A sports bar with class. Dark wood interior, nice leather booths, big horseshoe bar with classy glassware. My buddy who lives in the south loop said they were a victim to Covid.

yeah, Chicago is awesome but fuck expensive. My daughter pays ~3,600/month rent in that area. Yeah, she as a nice place on the river, but crazy money to me. Granted she makes more money than me at 26, but that's a story for a different time.
Last time I was in Chicago was almost 30 years ago. Had a good time, but had no idea where to go, what to do.
This time was awesome and I'll definitely be going back 1-2x/year. Will hit a Rangers/Hawks game and my wife loves the Bears for some reason (yeah, she's insane, but she married me ffs so that's a given). May be now my 2nd favorite city behind NY. My other two sons loved it as well.
And, I had no idea they had casino's there! Fuck I'm rated, I woulda got free rooms at Ballys, instead of staying at Hilton on Michigan, although that place was pretty decent.

surprised you moved away from Chicago - see my previous post, just an awesome city. Nice people too.

I guess you can't stay at Ballys upon further review. Oh well, we'll be there next April for sure, probably again in the fall as well.

Carolina absolutely burying the Islanders. Fuck the Isles, no spirit. Can't believe they went total turtle in that game they were up 3-0, unacceptable, Roy needs to be relieved of coaching duties.

weird, Boston is only -145 to win right now in OT, at home, and Carolina is -210.
Gotta bet Boston on principal alone.

I put a sprinkle on Pasta to score the game winner at +500. I'm rooting for Toronto, but they are the biggest bunch of gutless cunts in the league.

Rangers/Hurricanes are #1 vs #3 in the league and not even conference finals. League needs to reseed.

They’re a team with an amputated soul. There’s no prosthetic for that.

Hot Rod advances to take on the Rags

Who’s the last coach in line for the Islanders?!?!? I’m dyin laughing.

I got a little loco and put way way way too much money on the oilers o3.5 tonight. I don’t usually do this but the damage has been done.
