Only "catch" is that it takes a little while to get your limits raised for instant buys (meaning you can purchase the BTC immediately) and regular buys (meaning you "order" the BTC and it takes 3-4 days to arrive in your account).

But it makes life 100% easier...I'd never not deposit/withdraw using this method ever again.

Coinbase, circle and Blockchain. CB and Circle are to fund BC and BC is the wallet for ALL transactions to/from books/poker sites, etc. with circle after 30 days I believe you can deposit 3k...coinbase after 30 days I believe gives you an instant buy amount of 1k

Yes. Will probably be my last. Paranoid now after reading that post about chase.

Also after educating myself about Bitcoin it seems pretty ignorant and stupid for me to not use it.

Has anyone tried a money order?
i was told the money orders come from either Walmart or US post office.
would seem like a great option.

and "by end of the week" means on Monday in 5dimes world apparently. then must wait ANOTHER 7-10 business days...

or i can spend $140 in fees on a money order. fuck them. looks like btc option is starting to be the only option for my remaining balance if i want my money before football season starts again...

    No More PlastiCapital

Dear Customer, Please be informed PlastiCapital is no longer a payout method. If you have your card loaded, you can proceed to cash out all your funds. Regards, Payout Team 5Dimes Group

No, because you're not using the Bitcoin to "play the market"...if you made a profit or loss off of buy/sells, then it would be treated like any other type of investment you'd have to claim. Essentially, the wallets goal is to fund it, then move it as quickly as you can via the proper method to get to its destination. Leaving BTC in a wallet is not something I do. Never had any reporting issues with anything.

Minimum Bitcoin request is $50. That's what I'm doing to just test this thing out.

Trying to understand it and I get the double transaction, but at what point do you get the exchange rate to the dollar? Withdraw and exchange at the immediate rate or must wait for (3?) days and get the exchange rate then? Just in case the value of Bitcoin were to dramatically fall in that window.

Here is the one thing I will say to you guys about using this method for deposits/withdrawals as I swear by it. 1. Get you money in and out of the wallets ASAP. 2. (And I CANNOT emphasize this enough) Secure your wallets. Learn about Authy, which is a program that will not let someone into your wallet until you provide a 7-digit code that expires and changes every 30 seconds...don't get involved with this until you secure your currency as much as possible. If anyone has any specific questions, feel free to post them here or shoot me a PM and I'll get back to you.

Trust me, I know it is scary as hell at first. And before I even did it, I spent a good 2 or 3 weeks just reading about how to best use the process / the do's and don'ts / and specifically how to use this for offshore books. Now I swear by it and haven't deposited any other way in over a year.

KJ, the BTC window when you request an address to send funds to usually locks in the rate they reference for like 10-15 minutes, I believe. So while it is possible that the value could move (either up or down) quickly, if you're moving the funds rapidly, then it generally is negligible by the time it reaches its final destination.

The problem with Bitcoin is the US government could shut it down tomorrow. As soon as the big banks decide its game over time, Washington will surely step in . Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan is all but calling for it already

Lets say for some reason you enter the address incorrectly (for where the bitcoins are being sent to)... does blockchain say there is an error?

    Obviously you should always copy/paste....

wonder how long this will stay pending
