This is the toughest card I have seen in a while.
Cutch might sit today after being HBP yesterday. Pirates are 3-0 in Locke's L3 starts and are 11-4 L15 Sunday games. Atl is 6-14 L20 Wood starts, 3-7 L10 Sunday Wood starts.
LAA are 22-8 in Richards' last 30 home starts.
Cubs are 6-1 SU this season in game 2's on the road after losing game 1 of the series. The one loss was at St Louis.
Tor had scored in double digits 12 times this season (prior to last night), the following game, they have scored an average of 2.8 runs
good stuff, thanks
Looking hard at Boston and Cleveland. Would love to hear some thoughts on those games if anyone has any.
Total in Toronto just dropped from 9 to 8.5 at my book. Tend to agree with the steam here
I watch most of the Pirates games and I can tell you the team's record of 2-5 L7 is very indicative of how they have been playing. Could easily be 0-7 in those games. Morton only 1 day start this...
Hellickson/Cashner and a total at 6.5?? Hellickson having back issues.
Over is 6-2 in ARI last 8 Sat. games.
Over is 6-2 in SD last 8 during game 2 of a series
Over is 20-7-1...
Harvey has a 4.74 day era. I actually like Lorenzen more than most. He is serviceable and these teams are very close talent wise. I expect the game to be close like last night and +157 seems too...
Tim is 3-0 during the day this season
Going back to the well with the over in Col/SF. Teams are hitting the shit out of the ball right now and both pitchers in bad form.
Last 3 starts:
Rusin 2.02 whip 9.39 era 2-1 over
No concern over Gallardo good form and Tex dead bats?
Like the Det game over, Danks stinks but think Sox get theirs as well. Det has played 9 straight overs
Andriese worst splits are home/day
How is Schreiber? I am looking at the over in SF.
Total of 7 seems low with Bettis versus Hudson
Porcello is bad, but actually has decent numbers vs TB - pitched gems last two times he faced them and could only find 1 bad start going back 5 years.
The way Max is throwing the ball, I may have...
took the Bos TTun 4.5 - juiced but if they get to 5 with that lineup so be it
Lynn of the DL
Haren best at home, in the day
StL already got first 2 games of the series
Fish F5 for me.
Looking hard at under in Coors as well.
Pedroia, Ramirez and A Jones all likely out today.
Alfredo has great home/day splits. Rodon has been hit or miss on the road with 2 really good starts and 2 really bad ones. On June 7 Alfredo went 8 innings vs CWS giving up 4 runs, but only 1 earned....
G. Cole during the day: 5-1 1.66 era
Leake during the day: 0-1 10.80 era
Leake's last 2 starts @Pit were combined 15 innings, 0 er, but they were both night games. Anyone have Leake career...
Graveman with best splits (away/night), Rodriguez with worst splits (home/night). Oak is streaky and hot right now. I will take my chances with Oakland.
TB has owned Tor (8-2 L10) and Karns day splits much better than Estrada. Tor much better vs. LHP. Take my chances with a reasonable price on TB
Quintana 0-4 7.59 day
Will look to continue fading Mia and NYM on the road. Desclafani is on a nice little run and Koehler 6.21 away this year. Hoping Freeman is back in Atl lineup. Atl hitting better vs RHP and Noah bad...
Thinking about a StL chase in this series. StL has lost more than 2 in a row 1x this season (that was a 3 game losing streak). Phi has won more than 2 in a row 1x this season. If StL loses the first...
Having trouble understanding the line in Clev. Not to oversimplify, but you have a 20-13 road team who is 7-3 L10 and leading its division vs a 13-19 home team who is 4-6 L10. Slight pitching edge...
also helps that CC has an era of 9.00 at home
Agree, but Latos ERA is 2.42 away, vs 7.90 at home - and he has given up 1 er in 3 of L5 starts (2 of them on the road). Thinking Mia TT ov may make more sense
I know Mia is up there, so that is my guess.
good for the under
think I like Cubs chances better than Muts - Salazar is good, but Cleveland is just so inconsistent. Cubs the better team...can't say the same about the Muts. Tor making a real surge.
Pit finished 2nd to Stl last year by 2 games and had to face Mad Baum in a wild card game. They finished 2nd to Stl 2 years ago by 3 games and had to play in a wild card game. They are focused on...
With St Louis losing today, I'm going to bet Pittsburgh again. This team wants badly to avoid a wild card situation, and they know they have to keep winning to make up group in the division...with...
Pirates have given up last 10 games: 2, 0, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0, 4, 2, 0 and they have Cole going today. Anybody have Jeff's career numbers vs Pit? I expect they are good as recall Pirates struggles...
Like the under in Atl. F5 especially. Miller is proving to be for real and Clay in June. Expect a pitchers dual, but bullpen concerns.
Does Dickey like the roof open or closed?
SF 0-6 L6 home games
SF 2-6 L8 Vogelsong starts vs Arz
See value in Cincy F5 and game. Cubs back home off a long trip. Cincy on a little roll and better vs LHP. Lorenzen has been pretty solid and better on the road. If he can avoid the free passes Cincy...
Taking GS 2HTT ov 50. Like it better than -3.5 bc think Clev gets to 90
I watched every minute of the first two games and GS should feel very fortunate to be 1-1 at this point. Just wonder how that affects them mentally. Clev, on the other hand, should be booming with...
